Basslane is the original freeware
classic used in countless productions to control the
stereo field of lower frequencies on tracks and mixes.
It's a simple, yet very handy little utility that allows
you to narrow the width of the frequencies below a
defined threshold.
The easy-to-use interface features
a range of monitoring options allowing precise
finetuning while auditioning the processing at different
stages.
The incoming audio
is first processed by an encryption algorithm, based on the displacement
of frequencies along the audio spectrum, and then it passes through a
comb fiter and a SV filter. This SV filter can be modified by using a
16-step LFO, which controls filter frequency, filter resonance and
encryption mode.
Transilient is a
versatile FSU/Glitch type multi-effect unit designed to
make strange and unusual new sounds -- yet still
(hopefully) easy to use. The 5 different effects can be
modulated by one of two 16-step sequencers, a LFO, any
WAV file, and/or manually controlled. Additionally, the
modulators can be synced to your host's tempo. You can
easiliy turn a single sustained note or chord into an
electronic drum loop. Or take an existing drum loop and
turn it into something glitch-like and noisy. Slower
tempos work great for drone and ambient sounds. 16
presets are included to get you started.
