Red Module releases free suite of analog tape drum samples 06th March 2019

Red Module has released limited free editions of their first series of drum samples. These free editions contain 7.5 IPS (inches per second) reel to reel tape mastered drum hits and are supplied in 24-bit 44.1 kHz WAV.

Red Module | Free BOSS DR-110

- This is the free edition of the Reel BOSS DR-110 sample pack. This pack contains 33 samples recorded at 7.5 IPS, supplied to you in 24-bit 44.1 kHz.
- The paid edition contains all 110 samples, which have been mastered at 3 tape speeds (7.5 IPS, 15 IPS and 30 IPS) and also includes the direct (pre-tape) samples, supplied in both 24-bit 192 kHz and 24-bit 44.1 kHz.

Session details:

- 3 dynamics (normal, saturation, heavy saturation) recorded at 7.5 IPS are included per drum hit.
- All hits recorded live from the real hardware directly into the reel to reel tape machine. Every variation (dynamic and tape speed) recorded from hardware to tape is distinct.
- "A" samples are recorded with "BALANCE" set to "-5" on the DR-110. "B" samples are recorded with "BALANCE" set to "+5" on the DR-110.
