Beat Replacer is a
free VST plug-in designed to "translate" any source
track's beat into a custom MIDI note or a drum sound via
an integrated SF2 compatible synth. It can use any MIDI
port on your system as a destination too. Similar to
Drumagog's philosophy, it's not really intended to
replace mixed drum kit performances, you need a
multitrack independent drum recording to use, for
example, a snare or bassdrum isolated track as a trigger
sound to "on the fly" get another clean and already
mastered percussion sound or sample.
The Quilcom 111 is an executable file which
produces sound for brainwave synchronising.
I decided to make this after reading about the
phenomena in New Scientist and checking out other sources. If you search
Google for 111 Hz or 110 Hz you'll see what I mean!
You can listen on headphones for the spacial
effects or speakers for the rhythmic beating effects. The two generators
would normally be used independently but you can mix them with this app.
Slashstone SoundFX
Builder is a sound effect generator, made to generate
the simple sound effects. The tool is opensource,
released under the terms of the MIT license, written in
FreePascal+Lazarus.
Ambio.one can
process regular 2-channel stereo material to be
presented on closely spaced speaker pairs. Such setup,
even with only two speakers, can produce approximately
170 degree wide soundstage with considerably better
imaging and sound localization than conventional
stereophonics. A four-speaker setup (two closely spaced
speakers at front and back positions) provides a full
360 degree soundfield in the horizontal plane.
Ambio.one can be
used for mixing and mastering applications, as well as
for high fidelity reproduction of music.
