<-Pluggotic Nutseq Manual->

Nutseq is a three-parts drumsynth with groovebox features.

-It comes in both single-stereo-output and three-stereo-outputs versions
-It is not midi-note triggered but patterns are host-synchronized. (ergo, if you're wondering how to play it just press start on your host sequencer)
-It's free and stinks of over-exhuberant technocratic youth.

read the following to build your nut-riding skills.

-OSCILLATORS:
wave: sine (down) triangle (middle) square (up)
pitch: frequency
attack/decay: amplitude envelope
mod: pitch envelope. negative (down), none (middle), positive (up)
rate: speed of envelope
fm: amount of frequency modulation
pitch: frequency/rate of modulation
mod: fm envelope. negative (down), none (middle), positive (up)

osc<->noise: mix

attack/decay: noise envelope
filter: type. low pass (down), band pass (middle), high pass (up)
cut/res: filter's cutoff/resonance

scene: interpolate/morph between scene alpha (left) and scene beta (right)
view: visual switch between scene alpha controls (left) and scene beta ones (right)

shape: distortion
pan: panpot
lvl: volume

NOTE:
-all parameters in both scenes are morphable except filter's resonance.
-careful with morphing with extremely different shape levels, levels proportions might get funny (not for speakers)

-SEQUENCERS:
run: sequencer connected to oscillator on/off
steps: notes sequencing
auto: automatic sequence switching on/off
man control: manual sequence switching.
1/4,2/4,3/4,4/4 controls: choose which pattern will trigger each sequence

some possible combinations can be a-b-a-c or a-a-b-c, check presets for examples.

NOTE:
-careful with entering steps while abcd patterns are sequencing. better use the manual mode for composing.

-SCENE SEQUENCERS:
faders: scenemorph position. alpha (down), beta (up)
button: shows scene sequencers options
depth: amount of scene modulation
start/end: choose scene sequence start/end point
dir: direction. forward (left), backward (right)
glide: steps smoother. scaled (left), smoothed (right)

NOTE:
-the combined values of a scene fader and its scene sequencer are limited by design.
alpha and beta are the maximum range possible. when exceeded in both directions there will be no further change in sound.
-even changing morphsequence start/end points, modulation will keep on 4/4

-MAIN CONTROLS:
output: global output level per section
